Abstract: In a general aspect, medical images are segmented by a medical image segmentation system. In some aspects, a medical image segmentation method includes obtaining a medical image comprising a series of images; obtaining a surrogate context based on a support set of images; identifying a query set of images; providing the surrogate context, the support set of images and the query set of images as inputs to a machine learning process; and segmenting the query set by operation of the machine learning process executed on a computer system, wherein executing the machine learning process produces segmentation information of the query set. The support set of images includes a first subset of the series of images and the query set of images includes a second subset of the series of images.

Abstract: A powered lift hand truck with a corresponding method of operation and control. The apparatus includes a powered lift hand truck configured to lift a load from a lowered to a raised position (and vice versa). The system uses the rotational speed to measure linear speed and enforce a consistent speed of the load. The system is programmed to lift/lower loads at the same speed, regardless of load overall weight. If, for example, the load is heavy, the system determines that the speed is below a predetermined threshold and increases the power so as to increase speed.

Rollers are captured in each of said channels that are capable of vertical movement along its respective channel. A first toe plate is affixed to said columns and adapted to extend horizontally during use. A second toe plate is attached to the rollers and adapted to move vertically along said columns between upper and lower positions. The first and second toe plates are in nesting relationship when the second toe plate is in its lower position.

Abstract: In a preferred embodiment, a mounting bracket for support of a window air conditioner on a window sill installed in a window opening in a wall of a building, the bracket including: a generally horizontal support member for supporting a portion of the window air conditioner extending outside of the building, a proximal end of the generally horizontal support member being for attachment to the window sill; a foot member to rest against an outside surface of the wall below the window opening; a strut member having an upper end thereof attached to an attachment point near a distal end of the generally horizontal support member and a lower end thereof attached to the foot member; and apparatus to selectively adjust height of the proximal end of the generally horizontal support member above the window sill, depending on construction of the window sill and obstacles in the window.
