The plurality of objects include at least two different types of objects. One or more collaboration actions to perform are determined by a computing device based on the types and contextual information for the plurality of objects. The one or more collaboration actions are presented on the user interface. A presented collaboration action is initiated from the user interface.

Abstract: An annotated comment provides context for user comments in an online conference. A conference device obtains online conference data from an online conference between user endpoints, and provides an output of the online conference data to a user device. The conference device obtains a user comment from a user interface of the user device, and obtains a transcribed context portion of the online conference data. The conference device generates an annotated comment including the user comment and the transcribed context portion, and adds the annotated comment to the online conference data.

Abstract: A communication system and related methods are described. The communication system includes a communication server computer and multiple user computers. The communication server computer maintains synchronization of multiple copies of a graphical user interface (“GUI”) presented by the multiple user computers. The GUI implements a multi-user, digital communication environment and includes a chat area where communications are organized by time and a document editing area where communications are organized by subject. The GUI enables integration of the chat area and the document editing area and allows users to communicate across multiple communication modalities seamlessly and in real time.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, a method is provided. First text is obtained by speech-to-text conversion of speech of a first participant of a collaboration event. Second text typed by a second participant of the collaboration event, who is connected as a text-only participant to the collaboration event, is received. A meeting thread is generated in a message space of the collaboration event using the first text and the second text. The meeting thread is provided for display on user devices associated at least with the first participant and the second participant.

A message recipient list for the first message is dynamically updates by removing the second participant from the message recipient list and yielding an updated message recipient list.
