    Abstract: Aspects of the present technology comprise a positioning and stabilising structure to hold a seal-forming structure in a therapeutically effective position on a head of a patient. The seal-forming structure may be constructed and arranged to form a seal with a region of the patient's face surrounding an entrance to the patient's airways for sealed delivery of a flow of air at a therapeutic pressure of at least 4 cmH2O with respect to ambient air pressure throughout the patient's respiratory cycle in use. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise a front hoop arranged to contact, in use, at least a region of the patient's head superior to an otobasion superior of the patient's head and a rear strap.

The patient interface may be configured to deliver the pressurised air or breathable gas to the patient's airways for respiratory therapy. An air delivery tube may be coupled between the flow generator and the patient interface to deliver the flow of air from the flow generator to the patient interface as the pressurised air or breathable gas. A complementary flow device may be configured to divert at least part of the pressurised air or breathable gas away from the patient's airway.

    Abstract: Forms of the present technology relate to a patient interface for delivering breathable gas to a patient. The patient interface may comprise a pressurisable plenum chamber and a seal-forming structure configured to form a seal with a region of the patient's face surrounding an entrance to the patient's nares but not around the patient's mouth. The patient interface may further comprise a vent structure to allow a continuous flow of gases exhaled by the patient from an interior of the plenum chamber to ambient. The patient interface may further comprise a mouth closure structure configured to promote closure of the patient's mouth. In some forms, the seal-forming structure may comprise at least one adhesive surface configured in use to adhere to a region of the patient's face to form the seal.
