  • Publication number: 20150142536
Abstract: Disclosure is directed to projecting holographic images in connection with a program service such as cable or satellite television. In one instance, the projected holographic image may be an image of product that is featured in advertisement or other portion of program service. In another instance, the projected holographic image may be an image of a electronic programming guide with screens or menu displayed on sides of a cube or other geometric form. In still another instance, the projected holographic image is a video that supplements an instructional video or live broadcast.
    Type: Application
    Filed: January 27, 2015
    Publication date: May 21, 2015

  • Patent number: 8363411
Abstract: A media content receiving device, such as a set top box, includes a thermally conductive chassis having at least one panel with opposing surfaces. One of the opposing surfaces is exposed to an ambient environment. A circuit board located within the chassis includes at least one integrated circuit chip. A thermally conductive heat transferring unit is bonded to and in thermal conductive contact with the chip. The heat transferring unit is arranged to transfer heat from the chip to the at least one panel of the chassis while minimizing radiant heat transfer proximate the chip. The heat transferring unit may be biased toward the panel.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 18, 2011
Date of Patent: January 29, 2013
    Assignee: Eldon Technology Limited
Inventors: Matthew Stephens, Bhavesh Tailor, Stewart Marlow, Robert Legg

  • Patent number: 5012164
Abstract: In a horizontal deflection and EHT generator circuit, the supply line is connected directly to one end of the primary winding of the EHT transformer through a series switching element, and a unidirectional element connects that end of the primary winding to the supply line to enable energy recovery to the supply line through the unidirectional element during and following retrace.
