  • Publication number: 20190240565
Abstract: Evaluating interpersonal relationships is a complex subject not easily reduced to quantifiable values. This invention provides one data point for relationship measurement by evaluating the quality and duration of osculatory activity (kissing) of the test subjects. A source of electrical current is supplied and passed through a circuit in which the test subjects, while engaged in kissing related activity, are series elements. It is easily developed from Ohm's and Kirchoff's Laws that the better the interpersonal physical connection (lips, tongue, teeth, flesh etc.), the lower the electrical resistance of the series circuit and the more electrical current will flow. The resultant current flow is measured and mathematically integrated over a period of time to give a relative indication of the intensity and duration of the osculatory activity (kissing) and from that measurement an evaluation of one limited data point regarding the status of the participants interpersonal relationship may be extrapolated.

  • Publication number: 20100057642
Abstract: A method of creating an advertising campaign of the ‘Treasure Hunt’ variety which has the appearance of a sweepstakes is disclosed. The method is unique in that unlike a sweepstakes, no element of chance is involved and all participants are winners. In operation, individually identifiable entry certificates, coupons or other tokens are distributed to a target audience universe through any of several means such as direct mail, inclusion in printed periodicals or via on-line distribution. Recipients are advised that their entry form is definitely a winner at one of a number of participating business locations which are geographically proximate or otherwise accessible to the recipient. Each participating business is supplied with a list of the identification data of the distributed entry certificates which are winners at their location, and various levels of prizes may be awarded.

  • Patent number: 7204360
Abstract: A selection mechanism for vending machines or other similar uses in which a separate coin or token entry point is provided for each product or selection offered. Each of these entry points includes a sensing device to determine the presence of a coin as it passes through. When a customer inserts a coin into the desired selector entry point, the presence and passage of the coin is latched into a logic circuit or microcontroller memory. All of the entry points are mechanically aligned to steer the coins into the input funnel of a coin acceptor/validator mechanism. After the coin is subsequently confirmed to be genuine the selector mechanism provides an output signal to indicate the selected option.

  • Publication number: 20050098955
Abstract: A computerized system for operating a skill or knowledge based interactive game and several new modes of play for such a game. The invention is applicable to single or multi player ‘trivia’ or other knowledge based games, and could also be applied to games where the player's visual observation skills are tested and rewarded. It is particularly useful to public venues such as bars, taverns or social clubs as it provides entertainment and prizes for the patrons and cash revenue to the owner/operator of the premises. The incorporation of a discrete player input to designate an answer not included in the displayed answer group i.e. “None of the Above” or “Bogus” enhances game play and enjoyment.
