  • Patent number: 12136163
Abstract: Measures, including a method, system, and computer program, for performing in-mission photogrammetry while an imaging platform is surveying a target environment. A plurality of images of the target environment are captured by the imaging platform. At the imaging platform, a representative subset of images is identified from the captured plurality of images. The imaging platform transmits the identified representative subset to a processing node. At the processing node, the transmitted representative subset is processed to generate a virtual model of the target environment.

  • Patent number: 11936463
Abstract: Measures for managing satellite bearer resources of a satellite telecommunications network. A corpus of data based on historical satellite bearer resource allocations is maintained. A machine learning agent is trained with the corpus to determine a plurality of weights for use in directing satellite bearer resource management in the satellite telecommunications network. A satellite bearer resource allocation request is received. A set of features is extracted from a current environment of the satellite telecommunications network. The set of features defines currently allocated satellite bearer resources. On the basis of the determined plurality of weights and the set of features, satellite bearer resources of the satellite telecommunications network are managed to satisfy the request.

  • Patent number: 11182217
Abstract: Systems and methods for multilayered resource scheduling are provided. A system may include a user interface, an upper level scheduler, at least one lower level scheduler, and a reporting module. The user interface may receive a plurality of tasks. The upper level scheduler may sort the plurality of tasks into tasks with identical resource requirements. The lower level scheduler may be operable to receive resource requirements associated with a task. The lower level scheduler may ascertain compute resources sufficient to execute the task on a machine in a compute farm and advertise the compute resources as matching the resource requirements. The lower level scheduler may further receive a request to execute the task on the machine. The compute resources may be controlled to execute the tasks with the identical resource requirements without further scheduling operations. The lower level scheduler may control the compute resources to execute the task.

  • Publication number: 20190306277
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for displaying dynamic status information on a plurality of devices and enabling interactions between these devices are described. In an embodiment, a trigger signal is sent to one or more computing devices to trigger the launch of an application client on the computing device. The trigger signal is generated on another device in response to a user interacting with the displayed status information. This other device may be an impoverished device which displays status information for an application but is not capable of running the application client. In various embodiments, the status information is displayed in the form of a GUI element called a tile and this status information may be pushed to the device by a proxy server. The trigger signal may be sent to multiple devices or in some embodiments, a computing device may be selected to receive the trigger signal.
