  • Publication number: 20250148912
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for a road intelligence network for improved road safety, traffic management, and/or driver monitoring. The road intelligence network can use monitoring information comprising image data of vehicles on a roadway, or can use monitoring information comprising relative position and distance information for vehicles on the roadway determined using a network of beacon transmitters and receivers. Real-time mapping information indicative of vehicle movement and trajectory can be determined from the monitoring information and correlated to specific vehicles to detect unsafe or undesired driving behaviors, which may be further based on comparisons with historical mapping information of the roadway or for particular vehicles, or baseline driving characteristics of neighboring vehicles. Remediation messages and actions can be transmitted to a mobile application on a user device of a driver, in response to detection of the unsafe driving behavior.

  • Publication number: 20250132823
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for wireless communications. For example, a system can include a plurality of satellite dishes provided about a first location and configured for communication with a satellite internet constellation. Each respective satellite dish can be communicatively interconnected with one or more satellite dishes of the plurality of satellite dishes. The system can include a user equipment (UE) communicatively coupled to an adjacent satellite dish of the plurality of satellite dishes. Data traffic of the UE can be routed from the adjacent satellite dish to a selected satellite dish of the plurality of satellite dishes. The data traffic of the UE can be transmitted to the satellite internet constellation using the selected satellite dish. The data traffic of the UE can be routed to an internet gateway using one or more inter-satellite links (ISLs) between respective pairs of satellites of the satellite internet constellation.

  • Patent number: 12148274
Abstract: The present invention relates to system for raising an alarm if an electronic device is stolen. The tamper alert system for an electronic device comprises: a cable with a plug for connecting to a terminal of the device which has a processor; a sensor that is operable to communicate with the processor in the device and in accordance with computer implemented software. When an authorised connection of the cable is made to the electrical device a signal is received by the processor which configures an alarm to a standby mode. When in standby mode, if the sensor senses an unauthorised disconnection of the cable from the device, the processor transmits an alert signal, indicating an unauthorised event, to the alarm which activates the alarm.

  • Publication number: 20240257033
Abstract: Systems and methods for remotely controlling an article based on authentication of the article. A communication system with a senor for detecting an interaction event can be coupled to an article. The communication system can be associated with an article identifier. A communication including the article identifier can be received and the identification of the article through the article identifier can be authenticated based on an association of the article identifier with the communication system to verify that the communication is generated in response to the interaction event occurring at the article and being detected by the sensor of the communication system. As follows, operation of the article can be remotely controlled based on whether the article is authenticated.

  • Publication number: 20240178706
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for power delivery to vehicles on a roadway. A vehicle can be detected traveling on a roadway having a plurality of power distribution units for providing electrical power. The vehicle is authenticated to receive electrical power from one or more power distribution units based on identifying information associated with the vehicle. Based on successful authentication of the vehicle, a selected one or more power distribution units can be energized, the selected one or more power distribution units selected from the plurality of power distribution units as being nearest to the authenticated vehicle. Electrical power can be provided from at least one of the energized power distribution units to the authenticated vehicle while the authenticated vehicle travels along the roadway. The selected one or more power distribution units can be de-energized based on detecting that a load associated with the authenticated vehicle is no longer present.
