  • Patent number: 11751316
Abstract: A power transfer and monitoring device for an X-ray tube may include: an X-ray filament; a transformer including a primary coil and a secondary coil, wherein the secondary coil of the transformer includes a first leg, a second leg, and a middle leg; a current supply configured to supply a sinusoidal current to the primary coil of the transformer; and a calculation unit configured to measure a primary current of the transformer, configured to determine a synthesized transformer magnetizing current, and configured to subtract the synthesized transformer magnetizing current from the primary current of the transformer to determine a value of filament current through the X-ray filament. The first and second legs of the secondary coil of the transformer alternately supply current to a first end of the X-ray filament. The middle leg of the secondary coil of the transformer supplies current to a second end of the X-ray filament.

  • Publication number: 20210136900
Abstract: A power transfer and monitoring system for an X-ray tube includes a transformer including a primary coil and a secondary coil, a current supply that supplies a sinusoidal current to the transformer, and a current calculation unit which measures the primary current of the transformer, and synthesises the transformer magnetising current, and which to subtract the synthesised transformer magnetising current from the primary current to generate a value for the filament current.

  • Publication number: 20180056181
Abstract: A system for data integration for a virtual environment, the system including: a game backend; a plurality of game clients, wherein each of the game clients comprise a client engine which is connected to the game backend; a plurality of data sources; and a data engine connected with the game backend and with the plurality of data sources, wherein the data engine retrieves data from the data sources and provides it to the game backend for use by the game clients, via the client engine. A method for data integration for a virtual environment, the method including: receiving a data request from a game client; retrieving data from a data source that complies with the data request or, if data is not available from the data source, synthesizing data; transforming the retrieved data into a format usable by the game client; and transmitting the data to the game client.

  • Patent number: 8242451
Abstract: An aperture arrangement is disclosed, such as an aperture arrangement suitable for use with a dual wavelength infrared detector. A detector is disclosed which includes a casing; an aperture defined in one end of the casing; and a filter having an inner region and an outer region substantially (e.g., greater than 50%) covering the aperture; wherein the outer region of the filter transmits radiation within a first range of wavelengths and reflects radiation within a second range of wavelengths.
