  • Patent number: 5803687
Abstract: A compression clip of the present invention comprises a bolt and a self-tightening member having two side sections and a grooved intermediate section therebetween. The intermediate section has a hole for receiving the bolt. Preferably, the intermediate section has grooves on both an interior and exterior surface thereof. After tightening of the clip, the intermediate section flattens to become somewhat planar and the side sections are compressed inward to securely engage a guide rail or wear strip within the clip.

  • Patent number: 5692596
Abstract: A rail guide support assembly for assembly line and conveyor systems utilizes a split support rod which allows convenient visual confirmation of the positioning of the guide rails. The rod comprises two halves formed longitudinally, and a portion of the rod mates to form an indicator of the guide rail position relative to the conveyor belt and path of the product being conveyed. Adjustable positioning in multiple directions is possible, such that one or more guide rails may be differentially spaced both vertically above and laterally along the conveyor belt. The split rod may also incorporate a contoured design which keys the halves together to facilitate their assembly.

  • Patent number: 5310047
Abstract: A conveyor system guide shoe for guiding a conveyor chain or belt from the catenary sag onto a return way, wherein the guide shoe has multiple and reversible wear surfaces, each of the wear surfaces extending the width of the guide shoe. The guide shoe is reversible so that either one of the multiple wear surfaces can be utilized. The guide shoe also has grooves into which the wear strips of the return way can be inserted end-wise. A square support hole is provided through the center of the guide shoe for supporting the guide shoe while preventing its rotation. Support pins are also provided to secure the wear strips within the grooves of the guide shoe.
