  • Patent number: 7950315
Abstract: A saw includes a base, a frame assembly disposed on the base, a first rail disposed on the frame assembly, and a table slidingly disposed on the first rail. The table has an upper surface for supporting a workpiece. A support assembly is disposed on the frame. A saw assembly is supported by the support assembly. The saw assembly includes a motor, a cutting wheel driven by the motor, a guard portion covering an upper portion of the cutting wheel, and a fluid delivery assembly configured to direct fluid toward the cutting wheel. The fluid assembly includes a flexible nozzle with a hole. The nozzle is configured to direct airflow created by the cutting wheel away from the hole.

  • Publication number: 20110094053
Abstract: A vacuum can include a housing having an inlet adapted to receive debris being vacuumed. A mounting bar can be fixedly coupled to the housing. A floor collector assembly can be rotatably disposed about a first axis defined by the mounting bar. The floor collector assembly can include a first debris-passing member coupled to the mounting bar, a second debris-passing member rotatably coupled to the first debris-passing member and a third debris-passing member removably coupled to the second debris-passing member. The first debris-passing member can define an opening. The floor collector assembly can be operable in a plurality of modes. In a first mode, the opening can be substantially perpendicular relative to a vacuumed surface. In a second mode, the second debris-passing member can be rotated relative to the first debris-passing member about a second axis such that the opening is at an acute angle relative to the vacuumed surface.

  • Patent number: 7887395
Abstract: A sanding tool includes a handle assembly with a support member and a head assembly that includes a sanding member that is rotatable relative to the handle assembly about a drive axis. The sanding tool also includes a pivot assembly that pivotably couples the head assembly to the support member of the handle assembly. The support member pivotably supports the pivot assembly, the drive axis extends through the pivot assembly, and the head assembly is pivotable about a plurality of different axes relative to the support member. The plurality of different axes includes an axis that is substantially aligned with the drive axis.
