  • Patent number: 7503152
Abstract: A replaceable rotating cartridge capable of dispensing flexible tubing coupled to a lid of a container housing the cartridge. The cartridge is configured to accept a waste package insertable into the flexible tubing. The lid contacts an actuation device which actuates a rotation mechanism to rotate the cartridge while holding an end of the tubing stationary, thus sealably twisting and encapsulating the waste package inside the flexible tubing.

  • Patent number: 7445169
Abstract: A cap dispenses material from a container having a mouth. The cap has a main body mountable on the mouth. The main body includes a protruding portion having an opening for receiving material moving through the mouth. A combination seal and dispensing spout is pivotally mounted to the main body and has a top wall with an extended portion. The spout may be pivoted on the main body between a sealing position and a dispensing position. In the sealing position, the spout blocks flow of material through the opening. In the dispensing position, the spout is aligned with the opening in the protruding portion to allow material to flow through the protruding portion and onto the spout so that the material may be dispensed.

  • Publication number: 20080055892
Abstract: A portable utility light comprises a first housing portion, a second housing portion, and a light-emitting source disposed in the second housing portion. The first housing portion has a first end rotatively coupled by a joint to a first end of the second housing portion. The first housing portion is rotatable about the first end of the second housing portion to a first position and a second position. The light-emitting source is electrically coupled to a power supply by an activation switch. The first housing portion is configured to at least partially cover the light-emitting source when disposed in the first position. The first housing portion is configured to support the second housing portion and the light-emitting source in an upright bearing when disposed in the second position.

  • Publication number: 20070175182
Abstract: A waste disposal device including a sensing mechanism for delaying the rotation of a cartridge. The waste disposal device comprises a container defining a waste chamber for receiving encapsulated waste in a flexible tubing. The rotatable cartridge contains the flexible tubing. A lid is coupled to the device and is capable of moving between an open and closed position on the container. A rotation mechanism is operatively configured to engage the rotatable cartridge. A sensing mechanism is arranged to allow for delay in rotation of the cartridge until the lid assumes the closed position so that the waste is encapsulated in the flexible tubing after the closing of the lid, and after the subsequent twisting of the flexible tubing about the waste material caused by the rotation of the cartridge.
