  • Publication number: 20240144286
Abstract: Techniques for patient medical care are disclosed. These techniques include identifying a plurality of rules relating to a purchase of a medical item. The techniques further include selecting a first rule, of the plurality of rules, to apply to the purchase, including generating a specificity score for each of the plurality of rules, based on setting one or more bit values in each specificity score using matching criteria between the respective rule and the purchase and comparing the specificity scores for the plurality of rules. The techniques further include facilitating supply of the medical item to a patient based on completing the purchase using the selected first rule.

  • Publication number: 20210118525
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for assessing the risk of glaucoma in a subject. In certain embodiments, the present disclosure provide a method of assessing the risk of primary open angle glaucoma in a subject, the method comprises determining a risk score for primary open angle glaucoma in the subject on the basis of the genetic content of the subject at a plurality of selected genetic loci or markers and thereby assessing the risk of primary open angle glaucoma in the subject, wherein the selected genetic loci or markers comprise (i) genetic loci or markers having an association with glaucoma, and/or (ii) genetic loci or markers having an association with increased intraocular pressure, and/or (iii) genetic loci or markers having an association with an increased vertical cup to disk ratio, and/or (iv) genetic loci or markers having an association with a multi-trait test of glaucoma, intraocular pressure and vertical cup to disc ratio. Other embodiments are described.

  • Patent number: 4217608
Abstract: A d.c. coupled radiation scanning system having a plurality of radiation detector elements, a multiplexer and a scanned raster display device, including a circuit for compensating for variation in transfer characteristics of the detector elements. The compensating circuit monitors the voltage from each detector element, and derives and measures a voltage function therefrom in synchronism with the multiplexer. The voltage function may be average voltage or the average of the squares of voltages. Additionally, the mean value of all the measured voltage functions is determined over a succession of multiplexer time intervals, each measured value is compared against this mean value and the succession of error signals resulting therefrom is used to modify the signal output from the multiplexer and fed to the video input of the display device.
