  • Publication number: 20090284064
Abstract: A kneeling chair is provided with tilting seat plate and tilting knee plate with rotational tilt of the seat plate enabling the sitting to individual to sit back on a generally horizontal oriented or partially inclined positions of the seat without leaving the chair. The range of tilt is controllable by varied location of the axis of rotation and stops which can be adjusted. The rotation may be dampened by a brake apparatus provided.

  • Patent number: 6426739
Abstract: There is provided an apparatus for supporting one's limbs, preferably one's arms, while at a workstation which may be a computer keyboard. The apparatus includes a pair of rollers mounted on an axle. The rollers are especially adapted to support the forearms and will rotate as well as move in axial directions. The rollers are maintained at a predetermined distance from the workstation and are adjustable in the horizontal and vertical directions. A sensor is mounted on the axle and is periodically contacted by the rollers to provide information to the computer. By various methods of sensing roller movement, the rollers may generate data for computer or machine control as well as support the arms in various tasks.

  • Patent number: 6369797
Abstract: A conventional monoplane mouse is constructed to move on a flat surface upon a single plane within which a contained sphere may rotate tangential with the single plane contacting the flat surface. Signal for XY cursor movement are derived from two or more counting sensors positioned at an equator of the rotatable sphere parallel with the single plane. The mouse invention defines two or more facets in the underside housing. The facet mouse can be tilted to one of the exclusive facets and moved on a flat surface to generate XY signals. The facet plane selected by tilt is identified by triggered pressure sensitive switches at each facet plane. The switches also function as undercarriage feet to define the virtual plane of contact to the flat surface. The facet planes in two and four facet embodiments are oriented with the orthogonally placed sphere counting sensors so that the interest of any two opposing facets is parallel with the plane of rotation of one of the counting wheels.

  • Patent number: 5129525
Abstract: A stand for printed materials and objects such as a phone having a single channel column and multiple slots for the attachment of multiple shelf-trays in selectable positions. The small footprint stand has a top with a handhold in the center of balance of the stand. In the channel space of the column, vertical slots allow for moveable placement of pocket containers and also a retractable panel which may pop up through the top of the stand. A slimline phone and small articles may be mounted in the channel space while printed materials reside on the shelf-trays.
