Publication number: 20230135632Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide methods and systems for evaluating and recording a property of a system of interest (SOI) such as, e.g., a property of artificial intelligence (AI), and recording a change to the property of the SOI, e.g., recording a morphism of AI. Recording an SOI property, and any property changes, may include recording a digital property of the SOI to a blockchain. An SOI morphism may be recorded to a blockchain as one or more hash values of an encoding of the SOI. An SOI morphism may be autonomously or exogenously generated and recorded to the blockchain. The records on the blockchain may indemnify one or more parties associated with the SOI. Indemnifying may include executing a smart contract on a blockchain to mitigate risk of loss. An SOI may be asked to complete one or more tests to distinguish between a human, AI, and non-AI programs.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 25, 2022Publication date: May 4, 2023Inventors: Christopher M. Patent number: 10003647Abstract: Methods, systems, and configured storage media are provided for flexible data mirroring. In particular, the invention provides many-to-one data mirroring, including mirroring from local servers running the same or different operating systems and/or file systems at two or more geographically dispersed locations. The invention also provides one-to-many data mirroring, mirroring with or without a dedicated private telecommunications link, and mirroring with or without a dedicated server or another server at the destination(s) to assist the remote mirroring unit(s). In addition, the invention provides flexibility by permitting the use of various combinations of one or more external storage units and/or RAID units to hold mirrored data. Spoofing, SCSI and other bus emulations, and further tools and techniques are used in various embodiments of the invention.Type: GrantFiled: January 15, 2016Date of Patent: June 19, 2018Assignee: INTELLECTUAL VENTURES II LLCInventors: Ron McCabe, Robert Church, Tracy Camp, Stuart W.
