  • Publication number: 20250099341
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for placing and/or confirming a location of an end of a nasogastric or an orogastric tube within a body cavity are described herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes an elongated tube and a position indicator. The elongated tube has a first end, a second end, and defines a lumen. The position indicator is coupled to the elongated tube and disposed sufficiently close to the first end such that, when the first end is properly disposed in the cavity of the patient, the position indicator is disposed in the cavity of the patient. The position indicator is configured to produce an indication perceivable outside of the patient that the position indicator is disposed in the cavity of the patient. The indication is an indication differentiable from a sound naturally generated by the cavity of the patient.

  • Publication number: 20250073384
Abstract: In some embodiments, a system or apparatus includes an elongated tubular member having a first end and a second end. The elongated tubular member defines a first lumen extending from the first end to the second end, and a second lumen extending from a first port, which is defined in a sidewall of the elongated tubular member, to a second port in the second end of the elongated tubular member. An inflatable member is coupled to the elongated tubular member. The inflatable member is configured to define an echogenic volume in an inflated condition. A magnetic member is disposed within the elongated tubular member. A position of the inflatable member and the first end of the elongated tubular member within a cavity of a patient can be controllable via magnetic attraction between the magnet and an external magnetic source disposed external to the patient.

  • Patent number: 8126922
Abstract: A calendar system displays event data via an electronic calendar form that is accessible over a network by a user of a client computer. The system stores event data for multiple events and selectively displays event data based on whether a calendar access request is received from a guest user or an authenticated user. The system displays event data via a default calendar to guest users and displays event data via a customized calendar to authenticated users. The default calendar displays event data for related events based on a contextual relationship that is derived by examining event data for each the multiple events to determine a position separation and/or a frequency of a user supplied keyword in the event data. The customized calendar displays events based on contextual relationships and based on the viewing history of the user and other input data from user.

  • Publication number: 20070156553
Abstract: A system and method of providing to a consumer or other debtor protection against use of the debtor's identity to establish credit using an intermediary that is adapted to communicate with both the debtor and a potential credit grantor. There is a registration process in which the debtor registers with the intermediary; the registration includes user identification information and a level of protection that is authorized by the debtor on new credit. A credit grantor clearance process follows, in which a credit grantor that has been asked to extend credit to the debtor clears the request with the intermediary before issuing the new credit.

  • Patent number: 6945422
Abstract: An in-tank fuel line quick connector assembly for a fuel tank in a vehicle including a first member adapted to be disposed inside of the fuel tank and having a projection extending outwardly. The in-tank fuel line quick connector assembly also includes a second member adapted to be disposed inside of the fuel tank and having a cavity to receive the projection. The in-tank fuel line quick connector assembly further includes a seal ring disposed in the cavity to engage the first member. The second member has opposed latches adjacent the cavity and being movable to engage the projection for retaining the first member and the second member together.
