Abstract: The present invention relates to an emergency locking device for an extractable strap in a vehicle safety belt comprising a pivoted locking mechanism adapted to be moved from an idle position to a locking position in which the locking mechanism forces the strap against a rear surface, so that the strap is locked between the rear surface and the locking mechanism.

Abstract: A vehicle seat belt is provided with a device to pre-tension the seat belt should an accident situation arise. Thus, in an accident situation, the person wearing the seat belt is restrained tightly in his seat. The pre-tensioning device includes a force applying means adapted to apply a tension to the seat belt and an over-dead-center linkage which normally prevents the force applying means from applying the force, there being means responsive to a predetermined deceleration to alter the condition of the over-dead-center linkage to permit the force applying means to move the seat belt.

Abstract: A seat belt pre-tensioning device is adapted to be mounted on a vehicle and includes a buckle to receive a seat belt buckle. The device incorporates components which are responsive to a predetermined deceleration of the vehicle and which move to permit spring-loaded components to apply a force to move the buckle to apply a tension to the seat belt.

Abstract: A hand held impact device comprising a housing and an impact mechanism located therein. The housing is provided with an opening at its front end through which opening a working tool is introducable to receive impacts from the impact mechanism. A maneuver handle for direct, manual guidance of the working tool is freely displaceable along the working tool shank and is formed with a rear annular recess for being attachable to a cylindrical neck portion on the housing. The neck portion is coaxial with the working tool opening and forms a coupling means for the maneuver handle. The neck portion is provided with a groove with which spring biased balls on the maneuver handle are arranged to cooperate in order to releasably retain the maneuver handle in its supported position on the housing. The maneuver handle comprises a steel socket and a rubber sleeve which extends ahead of the steel socket to form a resilient, vibration insulating grip element.
