Publication number: 20190113546Abstract: A sensor for measuring current flow includes a housing containing a power generation circuit and a current measurement circuit. The sensor is entirely self-contained and is non-invasively attachable to a conductor. The sensor is self-powered using energy harvested by the power generation circuit. The current measurement circuit allows for continuous, uninterrupted measurement of at least one property related to the flow of current through the conductor. The sensor wirelessly transmits data related to the measured current flow to a computing device. The sensor may be used with other similar sensors to form a wireless sensor network that monitors one or more properties related to the flow of current through one or more conductors within a system.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 11, 2018Publication date: April 18, 2019Inventors: Stuti Jain, Mangesh Maruti Edake, Sushilkumar Madhukar Pagar, Vihari Venkatavidya Andukuri, Ashok Sridharan, Vivek Narain, Ankur Thareja, Hariharasudhan Venugopal

Patent number: 9848241Abstract: Improved operation of a content presentation device is achieved by displaying, to a user, user-desired primary content on the physical display device. Content pod metadata can be received specifying a predefined duration of a content pod for displaying auxiliary content, different from primary content, within a break from the primary content for the predetermined duration. The content pod metadata also specifies a plurality of subdivision time slots of the content pod, each time slot for different auxiliary content. The auxiliary content can be displayed on the physical display device within a time slot of the content pod. User input can be received while displaying the auxiliary content on the physical display device, where the user input indicates user interest in the auxiliary content. The auxiliary content can then be adjusted based on the user interest in the auxiliary content.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 2014Date of Patent: December 19, 2017Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Karin Zilberstein, Diana Finster, Adrian Chiu, Alexei Pineda, Stuti Jain, Enrique de la Garza

Patent number: 9165290Abstract: Notes may be shared in an online meeting with online meeting attendees through a software application associated with organizing an online meeting, for example, online meeting software, calendaring software, note-taking software, or the like. Notes may be created and/or shared before, during, and/or after the online meeting by meeting attendees. Meeting attendees may be notified when notes are shared for the online meeting. Notes may be shared with items of the software application associated with organizing the online meeting. For example, notes may be shared in online meeting software with the online meeting. Notes may be shared among items of different software applications, for example, notes shared in the online meeting software may be automatically shared with a calendar item in a calendaring software application.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2011Date of Patent: October 20, 2015Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Cynthia Wessling, Thomas Underhill, Alex Simmons, Hong Lin, Stuti Jain, Kitty Chou, Charles Duze, Sirirat Reinikka, Shruti Kasetty, Syed Bilal, Jeffrey Bell, David Rasmussen

Patent number: 8327277Abstract: Techniques to automatically manage overlapping objects are described. An apparatus may include a context module operative to receive context information for a multimedia event, and determine various context parameters and control parameters for the multimedia event. The apparatus may further comprise a blending module communicatively coupled to the context module, the blending module operative to receive multiple media content streams for multiple media content views for the multimedia event, and blend the media content streams for the multiple media content views based on one or more control parameters to form a blended media content stream. Other embodiments are described and claimed.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2008Date of Patent: December 4, 2012Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Pulin Thakkar, Noor E-Gagan Singh, Stuti Jain, Ix, Quinn Hawkins, Kapil Sharma, Avronil Bhattacharjee

Patent number: 8316089Abstract: Techniques to manage media content for a multimedia conference event are described. An apparatus may comprise a media content manager component operative to generate a visual composition of decoded media streams for a multimedia conference event. If it is determined that the total number of decoded media streams is greater than the total number of available display frames in a visual composition then an active group of decoded media streams may be selected from among the total number of decoded media streams for mapping to the available display frames based on speech activity. Other embodiments are described and claimed.Type: GrantFiled: May 6, 2008Date of Patent: November 20, 2012Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Pulin Thakkar, Noor-E-Gagan Singh, Stuti Jain, Avronil Bhattacharjee
