Abstract: The present invention relates to water-soluble pouch which contains a liquid detergent composition, wherein the pouch is a water-soluble film, the film material comprising a polyvinyl alcohol, and wherein the liquid detergent composition also comprises a plasticizer, wherein the plasticizer is selected from the group consisting of glycerol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, 2-methyl-1,3-propane diol, sorbitol, methanol, diglycerol, 1,4-butane diol, urea and mixtures thereof, and wherein the liquid detergent composition further comprises a viscosity modifier, preferably a hydrogenated castor oil.
