Patent number: 11449927Abstract: Device and method for implementing a vehicle sharing reward program. The present invention provides for a cost-sharing plan where two or more constituencies share the rental cost associated with a user who rents a shared vehicle in a vehicle sharing program. This results in a reimbursement of the rental cost to the user. When enrolling in the vehicle sharing reward program, the user is given a health prescription to adhere to on any trip taken while using a shared vehicle. On a selected travel route, the user visits a vehicle sharing station, where the sharing station includes a kiosk that the user uses to check-in and upload relevant information such as distance traveled and locations visited. By complying with the health prescription issued to the user, the user can have its total rental cost reimbursed.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2019Date of Patent: September 20, 2022Assignee: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: Chun-Yen Chen, Jian-Ren Chen, Su-Chen Huang, June-Ray Lin

Publication number: 20220090070Abstract: Chromatin 3D structure modulating agents in the context of the present invention are intended to interfere or manipulate the function of loop anchor motifs, such as CTCF motifs. In certain example embodiments, the present invention may block formation of an loop anchor or chromatin domain or induce formation of a loop anchor or chromatin domain at a targeted genomic location. For instance, a loop anchor motif can be altered, such as by mutating (including inverting) a binding motif so as to remove such a motif, or by adding new binding motifs in new locations within a loop domain, so as to reduce the size of an existing loop, so as to modify the size of an existing loop, or combinations thereof. Alternatively, the chromatin 3D structure modulating agent may bind a target region and mask a loop anchor motif, thereby preventing a loop anchor or chromatin domain from forming. The chromatin 3D structure modulating agent may bind a target region and cause a loop anchor of chromatin domain to form.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 10, 2021Publication date: March 24, 2022Inventors: Erez Lieberman Aiden, Eric S. Lander, Suhas Rao, Su-Chen Huang, Adrian L. Sanborn, Neva C. Durand, Miriam Huntley, Andrew Jewett

Patent number: 10510145Abstract: A medical image comparison method is firstly to obtain plural images of the same body at different time points. Then, obtain a first feature point group by detecting feature points in the first image captured at a first time point, and a second feature point group by identifying feature points in the second image captured at a second time point. An overlapping image information is generated by aligning the second image with the first image according to the first and second feature point groups. Then, window areas corresponding to a first matching image and a second matching image of the overlapping image information are extracted one by one by sliding a window mask, and an image difference ratio for each of the window areas is calculated. In addition, a medical image comparison system is also provided.Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 2017Date of Patent: December 17, 2019Assignee: INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH INSTITUTEInventors: Jian-Ren Chen, Guan-An Chen, Su-Chen Huang, Yue-Min Jiang
