  • Publication number: 20240399913
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a charger for preventing problems that may occur in a charger, an electric vehicle, and a charging infrastructure without interrupting charging of the charger when a voltage input to the charger is a low voltage, and includes a sensing unit provided at the charger, configured to sense an input voltage input to the charger; and a controller provided at the charger, configured to perform a first monitoring mode in which the charger is controlled to reduce current flowing to the electric vehicle when the input voltage sensed at the sensing unit is lower than a reference value which is lower than a rated voltage by a preset magnitude.

  • Publication number: 20240399912
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a charger preventing interruption of charging of an electric vehicle even when an internal temperature of the charger rises, and includes a sensing unit configured to sense an internal temperature of the charger, and a controller provided at the charger, configured to control an output of the charger while charging an electric vehicle, and to perform a first monitoring mode in which the output is controlled to be reduced when the internal temperature of the charger sensed at the sensing unit exceeds a reference temperature.

  • Publication number: 20240364110
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a charging system, and more specifically, to a charging system which can prevent power imbalance in each phase in a system that supplies power to one of three phases. The charging system according to various embodiments of the present disclosure described above, the first to third charging terminals are always connected to the R-phase, S-phase, and T-phase of the system respectively, and the fourth to k-th charging terminals are each connected to the R-phase, S-phase, and T-phase using the first to (k?3)th relays when necessary, thereby reducing the number of relays than before. Further, the control unit controls the first to (k?3)th relay units to reduce the load amount deviation in each phase according to the load amount connected to the R-phase, S-phase, and T-phase, thereby eliminating imbalance of the load amount of each phase.
