Publication number: 20230226176Abstract: The present inventors have found that innate immune response and T cell exhaustion pathway are more greatly over-expressed in pigs than cattle, such that the pigs are less likely to form adaptive and humoral immune responses than cattle. It would be suggested herein an innovative strategy for improvement of abnormal immune responses in pigs by simultaneously inducing potent cellular and humoral immune responses and applying T cell agonists as a new vaccine adjuvant. This result may provide an important clue for understanding a difference in the immune response between the cattle and pigs, while suggesting a method for maximizing the immune response and vaccine efficacy, which are less expressed in pigs than cattle.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 26, 2020Publication date: July 20, 2023Inventors: Minja LEE, Hyundong JO, Su-Mi KIM, Byounghan KIM, Jong-Hyeon PARK

Patent number: 7359732Abstract: In a method for storing data in a memory card mounted in a mobile terminal, determining if the memory card is mounted in the mobile terminal. If the memory card is mounted in the mobile terminal, sensing data selected by a user to be stored in the memory card. If the selected data is determined to be downloadable chargeable content, unique information of the mobile terminal is included and encrypted in the chargeable content, and stored in the memory card. However, if it is determined that the selected data is general data. Then, it is determined if the general data must be encrypted. If the general data must be encrypted, the unique information of the mobile terminal is included in the general data, and the general data including the unique information of the mobile terminal is stored in the memory card.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 2005Date of Patent: April 15, 2008Assignee: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.Inventors: Su-Mi Kim, Seong-Kyu Byeon

Patent number: 7323328Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel obligately symbiotic thermophile Symbiobacterium toebii SC-1 (Accession NO: KCTC 0685BP), and a thermostable L-tyrosine phenol-lyase and L-tryptophan indole-lyase produced by Symbiobacterium toebii SC-1. The present invention also relates to a pure culture method of Symbiobacterium toebii SC-1, a method of growth measurement for Symbiobacterium toebii SC-1 and its relative symbiotic bacteria showing low-growth yield using nitrate respiration, and a screening method of relative symbiotic strains of Symbiobacterium toebii SC-1 from the environment using a specific antibody to it. Therefore, the thermostable L-tyrosine phenol-lyase and L-tryptophan indole-lyase produced by Symbiobacterium toebii SC-1 in this invention can provide more stable catalysts in enzymatic biotransformation processes which enzymatically produce valuable medico-amino acids 3,4-dehydroxy-L-phenylalanine (L-DOPA) and L-tryptophan.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2005Date of Patent: January 29, 2008Assignee: Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and BiotechnologyInventors: Moon-Hee Sung, Seung-Goo Lee, Sung-Keun Rhee, Seung-Pyo Hong, Dae-Joong Kang, Su-Mi Kim, Chul-Joong Kim, Jin-Woo Bae, Che Ok Jeon, Joong-Jae Kim, Kwang Kim, Jae Jun Song
