  • Publication number: 20020189515
Abstract: A driving apparatus of a multi-head type embroidery machine prevents the twist of an upper shaft by transmitting the rotation force of a driving motor to a central portion of the upper shaft which drives heads. The driving apparatus includes a driving pulley coupled to a driving shaft of the driving motor, a driven pulley installed on the central portion of the upper shaft, and a power transmitting member for the driving pulley to the driven pulley and transmitting the rotation force of the driving motor to the upper shaft. The driving motor is received in a bracket which is fixed to a mounting recess formed on the beam. Between the bracket and the mounting recess, a vibration proofing member is inserted so that the noise and vibration are prevented. Nearby the driven pulley, an oscillation prevention unit for preventing oscillation of the upper shaft is installed.
