Abstract: A broadcast receiving apparatus which provides a time shift function and a method thereof are provided. The broadcast receiving apparatus includes: a receiver which receives a broadcast signal; a signal processor which processes the broadcast signal to output broadcast data; a storage which includes a minimum storage area allocated to a time shift function and a recording area allocated to a recording function; and a controller which, in response to the time shift function being executed, sequentially stores broadcast data from the minimum storage area and, in response to the minimum storage area being filled, additionally designates a time shift area up to the recording area to store the broadcast data.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The image processing apparatus includes: a signal receiver which receives a broadcasting signal including first and second contents; a signal processor which processes the broadcasting signal received by the signal receiver; a storage unit; and a controller which receives the first and second contents of the processed broadcast signal from the signal processor and stores in the storage unit the first and second contents to be consecutively played, and consecutively plays the first and second contents in response to receiving a request for playing at least one of the first and second contents.

Abstract: A system and a method for providing web services to a device without a web browser are provided. A client, which provides web services, includes a control module transmitting a user command to a server which has a web browser and which provides web services; a parsing module receiving a markup document and/or content from the server, and parsing the markup document and/or content, where the markup document and/or content are received from a web server by the web browser in response to the user command; and a content reproducing module reproducing the markup document and/or content, under control of the control module based on the parsing result.
