    Abstract: The present invention relates to a heater for an electric vehicle, including: a radiator disposed in the electric vehicle to radiate heat when power is supplied thereto; a power supply part disposed in the electric vehicle to supply the power to the radiator; and a controller for controlling the operation of the power supply part, wherein the radiator is made of a carbon material and emits far infrared light therefrom when the power is supplied from the power supply part thereto. According to the present invention, the radiator emits the far infrared light to enable the heat to be applied directly to a user's body, thereby reducing an amount of power consumed unnecessarily and providing high thermal comfort for the user.
