  • Publication number: 20140181492
Abstract: In a method of booting an electronic system, a processor generates a booting request signal in response to an external control signal, and a memory controller enables the processor to read and execute a first boot program stored in a first memory in response to the booting request signal. The processor generates a booting success signal when booting using the first boot program is successful. The memory controller enables the processor to change, from reading and executing the first boot program stored in the first memory to reading and executing a second boot program stored in a second memory for booting of the electronic system, according to at least one of the booting request signal and the booting success signal.

  • Patent number: 8370358
Abstract: Generate tags for content from metadata pre-filtered based on context. A plurality of data items is accessed. Each of the data items has metadata. A context for a user is determined (e.g., at a moment of content capture). One or more of the data items are selected based on the determined context. Upon receipt of content, the received content is compared with the selected data items to identify matches. Metadata is selected from the metadata associated with the matching data items. The selected metadata is associated with the captured content.

  • Publication number: 20050038920
Abstract: A keyboard controller can parse all the data and commands. Further, the parsed commands and data are processed to hardware or firmware/micro-controller. This, therefore, can reduce the complexity of the firmware of keyboard controller. By using the keyboard controller, the provided keyboard controller can enhance flexibility and efficiency for command and data processes. More, the complexity of the required firmware is reduced.
