The design's robust features allows for simplified integration and management to changing business processes and needs. The system incorporates a method of integrating changing business processes with current and up to date technological systems without having to start over every time a new business process is introduced or a new technology or technology upgrade takes place.

Abstract: The workforce planning tool (WPT) decomposes, maps, and allocates historical cost center data of an organization, including personnel costs and non-personnel costs, to a process hierarchy used to identify target improvements. The WPT calculates baseline costs to operate the processes of the organization with no processing errors. The WPT calculates actual costs to operate the processes, and identifies an improvement target for the organization by comparing the baseline costs to the actual costs, and the historical cost center data of the organization.
