  • Publication number: 20260017659
Abstract: Verification of a tamper-resistant log is disclosed herein. A storage provider maintains an append-only log storing a first log entry written by a first writer, the first log entry comprising first log data, a first signature and a first hash value. A verifier requests, from the storage provider, verification of the first log entry. The verifier obtains, from the storage provider, the first log entry and at least a portion of a second log entry preceding the first log entry to enable verification of the first log entry, wherein the second log entry comprises second log data, a second signature and a second hash value. The first log entry is verified based, at least in part, on the portion of the second log entry.

  • Publication number: 20260019286
Abstract: Incremental verification of a tamper-resistant ledger is disclosed herein. Periodic proofs are generated by periodically verifying the integrity of a tamper-resistant ledger. The periodic proofs enable a verifier to incrementally verify the integrity of the tamper-resistant ledger by verifying the periodic proofs. A periodic proof is generated based on a preceding proof and entries added to the tamper-resistant ledger since the preceding proof. A verifier verifies a periodic proof based on the preceding proof and the entries added to the ledger between preceding proof and the proof being verified. An action is performed responsive to verifying the integrity of the tamper-resistant ledger.

  • Publication number: 20250379730
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable storage media described herein provide key refreshment utilizing tamper-resistant public key commitment. In an aspect, a ledger manager stores a set of public keys associated with a user account in a ledger database. The ledger manager assigns a first public key of the set of public keys as an active key. Responsive to receiving an update key request from a computing device on behalf of the user account, the ledger manager updates the active key to a second public key of the set of public keys. Responsive to receiving an active key request from another computing device on behalf of a another user account, the ledger manager causes data accessible to the another computing device to be encrypted using the second public key. In an aspect, the ledger manager utilizes the second public key to encrypt second data accessible to the another computing device.

  • Publication number: 20250379884
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable storage media described herein for detecting cyber-attacks in a logging system. For instance, operation information for an executing operation is received. A log of the executing operation is generated based on the operation information. During generation of the log, a triggering event is detected based on the executing operation. The triggering event corresponds to a potential cyber-attack. A protective action is performed to mitigate the potential cyber-attack. In a further aspect, the executing operation comprises a plurality of sub-operations. A sub-operation subset of the sub-operations is determined to satisfy a risk logging criterion. The determined sub-operation subset is included in the log without including a first sub-operation of the sub-operations that fails to satisfy the risk logging criterion. In another aspect, a watermark is inserted into a downloaded copy of data, the watermark detectable to determine an original source of exfiltrated data.

  • Publication number: 20130041707
Abstract: The APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AN INCREMENTAL CONTAINER USER INTERFACE WORKFLOW OPTIMIZER (“WORKFLOW OPTIMIZER”) transforms user action request input via various WORKFLOW OPTIMIZER components into updated incremental container user interface output. In one embodiment, the WORKFLOW OPTIMIZER allows management of active/passive portfolios, integrates with trading desks/brokers, and guides portfolio managers through the trading workflow. Once the WORKFLOW OPTIMIZER receives an indication of a user's progress in a workflow, it determines a workflow sub-flow currently relevant to the user. The WORKFLOW OPTIMIZER also determines sequential actions sufficient to complete the current sub-flow, and relevant actions that are applicable to the current sub-flow that are not sequential actions.

  • Patent number: 8332864
Abstract: A system for business processes within and between organizations and/or individuals may be automated using standards-based, service-oriented business process automation architectures based on XML and Web Services Standards is described. An execution framework for the business processes is also described. Further aspects include a decomposition methodology for deconstructing business process specifications into business flows, business rules and business states. The business flows (FIG. 9, #214), rules (FIG. 9, #214) and states (FIG. 9, #214) may be defined in declarative languages and include the interaction, cooperation and coordination between the flow, rules and state engines, and the execution model for business processes within the framework.

  • Publication number: 20020042830
Abstract: A system for obtaining information is disclosed. The system comprises a server, a sender and a receiver and a communication means for the server to communicate with the sender and receiver. The receiver initiates a request message which is transmitted to the server. In the event the server is unable to immediately reply to the request with information for the receiver, the server retains the request in a pending state. The server retains the request in a pending state until a time when the server is able to respond to the request with information for the receiver and wherein at such time, the server allows for the completion of the receiver request with the information.
