Abstract: A system and method for providing a unified solution to transmit data from one or more devices/OEMs to one or more storage providers. The system analyzes the metadata of a device, which is sending the request, and identifies an appropriate storage provider for storing the data. Further, the system can convert device specific data format and an API set used for transmitting the data to a storage specific data format and a generic API set. The generic API set can be used to transmit data to one or more storage providers. Additionally, the system supports an extendable interface to initiate a request from the device.

Abstract: A system and method to monitor and control the valves in industrial process control and automation using Near-Field Communication (NFC) is disclosed. The system comprises a NFC-Equipment Interface Unit (NFC-EIU) to acquire parameters from the valves through a port and send the parameters to any handheld device by NFC for analysis. The NFC-EIU on receiving the analysis results from the handheld device can control the valves too.

Abstract: The Embodiments provides a method for bookmarking and dynamically associating bookmarks of offline content with online content. The method includes receiving request from a user to bookmark segments of online/offline content and generating bookmarks for the segments of the content. Further, the method includes associating the bookmarks for the segments of the content bookmarked by the user and playing the segments of the content using the bookmarks.

Abstract: A system and method for patching offline virtual machine (VM) without mounting virtual hard disks is disclosed. The system directly updates the virtual hard disks attached to a virtual machine by reading, writing or updating the raw bytes of virtual hard disk files. The system applies patch to offline VM that supports multiple vendors virtual disk formats, multiple VM guest OS and multiple file system format by updating the raw sectors of the virtual disk.
