  • Publication number: 20220100939
Abstract: A system and method of simulating device aging based on a digital waveform representative of a workload of an electronic device are disclosed. In one aspect, the method comprises grouping contiguous sets of cycles into segments, each set corresponding to a segment. Each segment has values for a combination of segment parameters that are unique from each of the other segments and a start point that is separated from a start point of an adjacent segment by a pre-defined distance criterion. Grouping the sets into the segments comprises, for each segment: sampling one or more sequential cycles of the workload, generating the segment based on the sampled contiguous cycles having a period exceeding a threshold period, and determining the values for the combination of segment parameters. The method further comprises applying an aging model to the segments to simulate the aging. The segments are a representation of the digital waveform.

  • Patent number: 11100458
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for controlling an electronic device based on mapping sensors to a physical asset. Embodiments of the present invention may include controlling or sending commands to an electronic device associated with a physical asset based on a mapping, where the mapping involves creating one or more groupings, based on sensor data, grouping data, and asset data, wherein at least one grouping comprises a physical asset and one or more sensors, and wherein the asset data pertains to the physical asset. Embodiments of the present invention may further include ranking the groupings by confidence level, and mapping the sensors to the physical asset based on a user selection received in response to presenting, to a user, the ranked groupings based on the confidence levels.

  • Patent number: 9224163
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of incremental computation of billing percentile values in a cloud based application acceleration as a service environment. In one aspect, a method includes sampling a usage data of a network entity of an application acceleration as a service provider in intervals of five minutes using a processor and a memory. A 95th percentile value is automatically calculated based on a next value in the billing cycle after the top 5% of samples in the billing cycle. The 95th percentile value of each of a plurality of billable units for each of billing measurements for a large scale data associated with the network entity is incrementally computed by computing the 95th percentile value upon a newest set of data arrived to the network entity in each five minute interval. A billing amount is determined based on an incremental computation.

  • Publication number: 20140122130
Abstract: A system for preparing vehicle repair estimates and sourcing parts for vehicles includes a processor, a display in communication with the processor, and an input device in communication with the processor. The display is configured to display information generated by the processor, while the input device is configured to receive inputs from a user and transmit the inputs to the processor. The processor is configured to identify records in a first electronic database that relate to a particular vehicle, identify records in a second {or multiple} electronic database relating to a source of parts for the particular vehicle, display a repair estimate illustrating recommended parts and part sources on the display, and receive user input identifying parts other than recommended, or identifying a different source for a recommended part, and automatically updating the estimate and notification of guideline exceptions.
