  • Publication number: 20250145797
Abstract: A polypropylene composition (PC), comprising: i) from 95.0 to 99.9 wt.-% of a monophasic propylene-ethylene random copolymer (R-PP) having an MFR2 in the range from 30 to 60 g/10 min and a C2 content in the range from 5.0 to 8.0 mol-%, and being free from 2,1-regiodefects; and ii) from 0.01 to 0.50 wt.-%, of a first nucleating agent (NU1) having a structure according to formula (I) wherein R is selected from C2 to C6 alkyl groups; wherein R1 to R5 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, hydroxyalkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, aryl, substituted aryl, halide, amino and thioether and combinations thereof, and optionally any adjacent R1 to R5 are linked together to form a 5-membered or 6-membered ring; wherein the polypropylene composition (PC) has a haze value in the range from 0.0 to 25.0 %.

  • Publication number: 20240359444
Abstract: The invention relates to a polyethylene sealant film comprising an outer layer O, a core layer C and an inner layer I, wherein the core layer C is made of a core layer composition comprising a component AC, which is a recycled low density ethylene polymer in an amount of at least 50 wt. %, based on the total weight of the core layer composition, and a slip agent; and the inner layer I is made of an inner layer composition comprising a component AI, which is a linear low density ethylene polymer having a density of from 910 to 925 kg/m3 and an MFR2 of from 0.5 to 2.0 g/10 min. determined according to ISO 1133. The invention further relates to a laminated polyethylene film and article comprising this polyethylene sealant film. The invention further relates to the use of the laminated polyethylene film and/or the polyethylene sealant film for packaging of an article.

  • Patent number: 7270546
Abstract: A reading or language interactive system which utilizes a mechanism to permit a computer-based instruction program in reading or language instruction to implement a shared reading program, wherein portions of the text are read by the student and portions by the computer itself. The proportion of the text “read” by each participant and the pace at which the lesson progresses can each be automatically altered based upon the proficiency of the student. In addition, the system utilizes a computer instructor to share the task of reading or language learning by modeling the task for the learner, variably controlling the amount of material that the student reads aloud based upon a computer assessment of the student's ability, helping the learner navigate through the instructional application, and participating in a joint performance that demonstrates the student's reading.
