    Abstract: A computer-implemented method for controlling access to a source code repository residing on a server system coupled to a communications network includes: receiving, by a computing device coupled to the network, an instruction to execute a client executable for accessing the source code repository, wherein the client executable includes a first hash based on the client executable; determining a validity of the first hash; computing a second hash based on the client executable; providing the first hash and the second hash to the server system; determining a validation result for the client executable, wherein the validation result is based on the first hash and the second hash matching a corresponding pair of hashes of a plurality of valid hashes stored in a database; in response to the validation result indicating that the client executable is valid, accessing the source code repository.

The method includes requesting an HTTPS connection with a server hosted website. The method further includes receiving a certificate from the server hosted website. The certificate is signed by a certificate authority and certificate validators. The method also includes delivering the certificate to each of the certificate validators. The method further includes receiving a certificate status for each of the certificate validators. Each certificate status indicates whether the certificate is valid or has been revoked. The method also includes determining a quantity of valid certificate statuses received from the certificate validators.

    Abstract: A method, computer system and article of manufacture for optimizing a computer program, the method comprising the steps of executing an application program and profiling selected loops of the executing program. Characteristics of the profiled loops are then compared to corresponding predetermined threshold values and the results of the comparison are used to select an optimization to be applied to subsequent execution of the selected loops. In a preferred embodiment, the optimization is the selection of either a parallel version or a serial version of the loop. Further embodiments provide for the selection of the number of processors for parallel implemented loops and for the selection of an unroll factor in serially implemented loops.
