In response to the detection of the dropping of the filter, an input control can be automatically created. The selection of an input control may be based on the type (or dimension) of the filter. Alternatively, an option to create an input control can be presented to the user, wherein only valid input control types for the type of the filter are presented. If a data type of a filter changes such that the type of a corresponding input control is no longer valid, the input control may automatically be modified to a type that is valid for the new data type of the filter.

    Abstract: In dynamic analysis of entities, a dataset including a set of entities and a corresponding set of parameters with values are received in an analytics application. An input for shortlisting an entity for a first position is received. Weights are assigned to the set of parameters based on a first set of criteria iteratively. Weighted values based on the weights and the values for the set of parameters are computed. Weighted average corresponding to the set of entities are computed. The set of entities in descending order of the weighted average are sorted. A first entity from the sorted set of entities in a user interface as a shortlisted entity for the first position is rendered.
