Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to edge computing, and more particularly to method and system for optimizing image data for data transmission. In one embodiment, a method is provided for optimizing image data for transmission to a server. The method may include receiving a plurality of server rules from the server with respect to an optimization and a transmission of the image data, generating a plurality of local decision making rules based on the plurality of server rules and one or more local events, analyzing at least a first portion of the image data based on the plurality of local decision making rules to generate image analytics data, and generating optimized image data for transmission to the server. The optimized image data comprises at least a second portion of the image data and the image analytics data.

The method includes receiving a content control request from the user of a client device, the content control request being raised by the user on the shared content. The method includes segmenting the shared content into one or more content segments based on the content control request. The method includes modifying presentation of the one or more content segments based on the content control request. The method includes presenting, by the content server, the one or more content segments to the user on the client device.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a method and device for detecting and analyzing faults in video conferencing systems. The method includes extracting a diagnostic log that includes unstructured textual information for at least one video conference session from a video conferencing system. The method further includes converting the diagnostic log into a uniform time zone diagnostic log that includes structured textual information. The method includes collecting Quality of Service (QoS) metrics associated with the at least one video conference session and event parameters associated with at least one live event within the at least one video conference session. The method includes processing the uniform time zone diagnostic log, the QoS metrics, and the event parameters based on at least one of a plurality of analytics rules stored in an analytics rule database. The method further includes performing at least one predefined action based on a result of the processing.

Abstract: A method and system for dynamic layout generation in video conferencing system by a layout selection system is disclosed. The layout selection system set-up receives one or more feeds comprising top view of a location associated with video conference from a first camera in real-time, computes information associated with one or more participants of the video conference set-up in real-time based on the one or more feeds and one or more pre-determined parameters to map the one or more participants in the location, obtains live audio data from at least one directional microphone of a plurality of directional microphones placed in the location. The layout selection system receives live video feed from at least one second camera of a plurality of second cameras placed in the location and generate a dynamic layout for the video conference set-up based on the live video feed from the at least one second camera.
