  • Patent number: 12360659
Abstract: In an example, a method involves displaying interface objects in a first area of an interface displayed on a virtual reality device. Each interface object represents one of a set of financial services available within a financial system. The method further involves, while displaying the interface, detecting, from the virtual reality device, a selection followed by a movement of an interface object of the interface objects. The method further involves moving, on the interface displayed on the virtual reality device, the interface object according to the movement. The method involves detecting, via the virtual reality device, a placement of the interface object in a second area of the interface. The method further involves, in response to detecting the placement, initiating an application for the financial service corresponding to the interface object and displaying a result of the application in the second area.

  • Patent number: 12327449
Abstract: A system for providing a user physical access to a facility. The system permits access to the facility via the user's mobile device that has a first near-field communication device and one or more security measures for authenticating the user's identity. A mobile application is encoded on the mobile device and is configured to create, store, and transmit a virtual identification of the user via the first near-field communication device. A reader device, having a second near-field communication device, at the facility permits physical access to the facility. The mobile application permits near-field communication between the first near-field communication device and the second near-field communication device when the mobile device and the reader device are in proximity to one another. When the mobile device authenticates the user's identity, the mobile application transmits the virtual identification to the reader device and the system permits physical access to the facility.

  • Publication number: 20250048093
Abstract: A terminal handler of a computing environment can provide remote access to Internet of Things (IoT) service devices positioned in a location associated with a service provider to facilitate secure transactions. The terminal handler can control a particular IoT service device by performing operations. The operations can include receiving a request to perform a function of the particular IoT service device. The request can include authentication credentials for a user account. The operations can include authenticating a user of a mobile device based on the authentication credentials. The operations can include authenticating the mobile device based on a distance between a location of the mobile device and the location associated with the service provider being less than a threshold distance. The operations can include transmitting an application programming interface (API) call to the IoT service device to cause the IoT service device to perform the function.

  • Publication number: 20250045755
Abstract: A system can be provided that can initiate a step-up authentication protocol to facilitate secure transactions. For example, the system can include an Internet of Things (IoT) service device. The system can also include a computing environment, which can receive, from a mobile device, a request to perform a function of the IoT service device. The request can include first authentication credentials. The computing environment can further determine that the request satisfies requirements for the step-up authentication protocol and can initiate the step-up authentication protocol by transmitting an authentication request to the mobile device. As a result, the computing environment can receive the second authentication credentials and can authenticate a user of the mobile device based on the first and second authentication credentials. Additionally, the computing environment can transmit an application programming interface (API) call to the IoT service device to cause the IoT service to perform the function.

  • Publication number: 20250021986
Abstract: A system can be provided that can enable contactless access to service devices to facilitate secure transactions. For example, the system can include Internet of Things (IoT) service devices associated with a service provider. The system can also include a computing environment, which may receive an access request from a mobile device. The access request can be transmitted in response to a user of the mobile device performing a contactless authentication process with an IoT service device. The computing environment can then identify the IoT service device and can identify a user account associated with the mobile device and with the service provider. The computing environment can further provide access for the mobile device to functions of the IoT service device via a software application associated with the service provider. The functions can be used to facilitate secure transactions between the IoT service device and the user account.

  • Publication number: 20250013761
Abstract: A system can be used to control an interaction using online indicators. The system can receive an interaction request associated with an electronic account type and that can be initiated via a computing device via a network communication. In response, the system may identify a request restriction of a security profile of the entity by executing an interaction processing service. The system can use the request restriction to identify an authorized online account opening indicator. In response to determining that the electronic account type is not consistent with the authorized online account opening indicator based on the request restriction, the system can challenge the interaction of the interaction request. In response to determining that the electronic account type of the interaction request is consistent with the authorized online account opening indicator based on the request restriction, the system can initiate the interaction of the interaction request.

  • Publication number: 20240414142
Abstract: A system can be used to control an interaction using communication-based indicators. The system can receive an interaction request generated via an interactive communication system and initiated by an entity. In response, the system may identify a request restriction of a security profile of the entity by executing an interaction processing service. The system can use the request restriction to determine an authorization indicated by the entity for the interactive communication system. In response to determining that at least one parameter of the interaction request renders the interaction request unauthorized based on the request restriction and the interactive communication system, the system can challenge the interaction of the interaction request. In response to determining that the parameter of the interaction request renders the interaction request unauthorized based on the request restriction and the interactive communication system, the system can initiate the interaction of the interaction request.

  • Publication number: 20240414546
Abstract: A system can be used to control an interaction using location-based indicators. The system can receive an interaction request associated with a geographical location and that can be initiated by an entity approximately at the geographical location. In response, the system may identify a request restriction of a security profile of the entity by executing an interaction processing service. The system can use the request restriction to identify an authorized geographical location of one or more geographical locations. In response to determining that the geographical location of the interaction request is not consistent with the authorized geographical location based on the request restriction, the system can challenge the interaction of the interaction request. In response to determining that the geographical location of the interaction request is consistent with the authorized geographical location based on the request restriction, the system can initiate the interaction of the interaction request.

  • Patent number: 12002315
Abstract: A system is described for providing a user physical access to a facility. The system permits access to the facility via the user's mobile device, having a first radio-frequency communication device, by communicating with a reader device at the facility, the reader device having a second radio-frequency communication device. The system receives identifying information and a request to grant access to the facility from the mobile device. After an approval of the request, the system creates a plurality of readable access codes for a web-based browser or dedicated application on the mobile device. The user may then use the first radio-frequency communication device to communicate at least one of the plurality of readable access codes to the reader device. Upon successful communication, the system grants the user physical access to the facility at an access control point.
