    Abstract: A finger light provides local illumination adjacent to a user's finger during a writing activity. Using a housing having a switchable light source and a finger-engaging framework removably coupled to the housing, a finger light is provided that enables local illumination for the user in a discreet or focused manner. In an alternative embodiment, a magnifying lens chassis is operatively coupled to a finger light housing.
