Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables consideration of battery status for an endpoint when configuring a codec for a communication session. In a particular example, a method provides, in an endpoint being powered by a battery, identifying a request to establish a communication session with the endpoint and determining a battery status of the battery. In response to determining the battery status satisfies a low-power criterion, the method provides selecting one or more parameters of a plurality of possible parameters for the communication session that result in lower power usage relative to non-selected parameters of the plurality of possible parameters and establishing the communication session using the one or more parameters.

Abstract: Messages, such as text messages, emails, and social media posts, are a popular way to communicate, however, messages can be overwhelming. In order to better manage messages, messages may be grouped, such as those having a common topic. A recipient may then address the grouped messages as a group. However, certain messages may have a common topic but have an attribute that warrants maintaining the message as individual messages, excluded from the group. For example, the message may be from someone who rarely communicates with the recipient, a celebrity, an important figure at work or in politics, a family member, or other attribute that would warrant exclusion from a common topic group.

Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables recording of user communications during a communication session on behalf of a user who is unable to attend. In a particular embodiment, a method includes identifying a meeting at a meeting time when a user is unable to attend. In an automated recording system, the method includes joining a communication session for the meeting as an endpoint at the meeting time. During the communication session, the method includes receiving user communications in the automated recording system from other endpoints on the communication session. After receiving the user communications, the method includes storing the user communications to a storage system.

The method further includes obtaining first contact information for the first selection of the participants and including the first contact information in a first contacts group. The method also includes providing the first contacts group to a selection of one or more users.

Abstract: Managing digital assets (e.g., documents, link, teleconference screenshots, etc.) is a substantial burden for many users and organizations. Being able to identify assets and then retrieve the assets at a relevant time can be of critical importance. As described herein, being able to encounter and tag assets with a user name or a meeting identifier, at a first time, and then when the meeting and/or communication with the user occurs, at a later time, automatically presenting indicia of the tags to facilitate presentation of the assets may significantly improve communications and efficiency that would otherwise be spent manually marking assets and/or identifying their location for retrieval.

Abstract: A system and method for dynamically assigning action items using Artificial Intelligence based on criterion. The criterion including resource availability, resource location, and/or resource skill(s). The system and method comprising: monitoring communications over one or more communication channels; analyzing the monitored communications to generate one or more user stories; processing the one or more generated user stories to identify one or more action items; scoring one or more resources based on assignment factors to determine a resource with a highest score; and assigning the one or more action items to the resource with the highest score. The system and method further comprising: tracking action items and automatically updating action item status. The system and method also include automatically re-assigning action items as needed.
