Publication number: 20230420085Abstract: This disclosure describes a machine learning system that includes a contrastive learning based two-tower model for retrieval of relevant chemical reaction procedures given a query chemical reaction. The two-tower model uses attention-based transformers and neural networks to convert tokenized representations of chemical reactions and chemical reaction procedures to embeddings in a shared embedding space. Each tower can include a transformer network, a pooling layer, a normalization layer, and a neural network. The model is trained with labeled data pairs that include a chemical reaction and the text of a chemical reaction procedure for that chemical reaction. New queries can locate chemical reaction procedures for performing a given chemical reaction as well as procedures for similar chemical reactions. The architecture and training of the model make it possible to perform semantic matching based on chemical structures. The model is highly accurate providing an average recall at K=5 of 95.9%.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 27, 2022Publication date: December 28, 2023Inventors: Sudipto MUKHERJEE, Liang DU, Ke JIANG, Robin ABRAHAM

Patent number: 9517879Abstract: A foldable transport container substantially slides and folds so that the transport container can be folded and unfolded conveniently. In an example embodiment, a foldable transport container comprises a planar foldable base, a pair of opposing straight side walls, a pair opposing foldable end walls, a foldable top, and a folding mechanism. A first straight side wall is operable to slide towards a second straight side wall along a first longitudinal axis, and a first foldable end wall and a second foldable end wall are operable to fold inwardly towards each other along a second latitudinal axis. The folding mechanism allows surfaces of the first and second foldable base sections to be used for storing goods within the container without any interfering protrusions when the foldable transport container is in its erected configuration.Type: GrantFiled: December 11, 2007Date of Patent: December 13, 2016Assignees: Indian Institute of Technology, Simpri Investments LimitedInventors: Anoop Chawla, Sudipto Mukherjee

Patent number: 9420020Abstract: A call manager is configured to establish an initial session between an agent and a user. A play request or a hold request from an agent device includes a video index value based on information from the user. The call manager interrupts the initial session between the agent device and the user device in response to the request and sends an invite message including the video index value to a media server. The media server accesses a video database based on the video index value for a video and establishes a communication session with the client endpoint device. The communication session includes a stream of the video from the video database.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 2013Date of Patent: August 16, 2016Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.Inventors: Rajeev Madan, Sudipto Mukherjee, Vijaya Mandava
