    Abstract: A system for implementing accurate and convenient OLTP (OnLine Transaction Processing) in a loosely coupled environment. The system includes a client with a client ID set in a request scope object and a server with a server ID set in a session scope object. The OLTP system determines whether a back-end operation acting on a database is a transaction operation by detecting the client and server IDs and then responds by performing corresponding operations.
