  • Patent number: 8053486
Abstract: The invention provides a coating composition comprising a thermal plastic resin selected from the group consisting of a polycycloolefin resin, polyester resin, polyacrylate resin, and a mixture thereof; and a radiation curable resin comprising a radiation polymer containing at least one mono- or multi-functional acrylic acid based monomer as a polymerization unit, an oligomer containing an ethylenically unsaturated functional group, and a photoinitiator, wherein the radiation curable resin is used in an amount of 220-1000% by weight on the basis of the weight of the thermal plastic resin. The invention improves the hardness of the coating composition, prevent the coated substrate from being scratched or impaired, and impart the substrate with high transparency without causing warping problem.

  • Publication number: 20100086743
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composite optical film, which comprises a substrate having diffusion micro-structures and a structured surface on one side of the substrate wherein said composite optical film has an internal diffusion haze of no less than 5% as measured according to JIS K7136 standard method. The composite optical film of the present invention has both light-diffusion and light-converging properties. The composite optical film of the present invention, when utilized in a liquid crystal display (LCD), can not only effectively enhance the luminance of the LCD panel but also avoid light dispersion and Moiré phenomena that may occur when said composite optical film is stacked with other material films.

  • Patent number: 7501051
Abstract: The present electropolishing electrolyte comprises an acid solution and an alcohol additive having at least one hydroxy group, wherein the contact angle of the alcohol additive is smaller than the contact angle of the acid solution on a metal layer under electropolishing. The alcohol additive is selected methanol, ethanol and glycerol, and the acid solution comprises phosphoric acid. The volumetric ratio of glycerol to phosphoric acid is between 1:50 and 1:200, and is preferably 1:100. The volumetric ratio is between 1:100 and 1:150 for methanol to phosphoric acid, and between 1:100 and 1:150 for ethanol to phosphoric acid. In addition, the acid solution further comprises an organic acid selected from the group consisting of acetic acid and citric acid. The concentration is between 10000 and 12000 ppm for the acetic acid, and between 500 and 1000 ppm for citric acid.
