Abstract: Coffee formulations comprising a coffee extract, a flavor agent, a solvent, and a coloring agent are described. Cartridges containing the coffee formulations are also described. Beverage dispensing systems containing such cartridges, and methods of make and using the coffee formulations are also described.

A combination of caloric, mid-calorie, low calorie, and/or non-caloric sweeteners may be dispensed to produce a food product with a specified caloric level or nutritive level. For a given nutritive level selected, the product dispenser may dispense different combinations of sweeteners and/or different ratios of sweeteners for different brands or products to be dispensed. Likewise, for a given brand or product, the product dispenser may dispense different combinations of sweeteners and/or different ratios of sweeteners for different selected nutritive levels.

Abstract: A mascara applicator in the form of a tube (10) has an applicator brush (22, 24) captive in the cap (12). To enable the brush to be moved within the body of mascara (16) in the tube, a mechanism is provided which produces movement of the brush relative to the mascara-containing tube, before the cap is released from the tube. Various different mechanisms, which will produce this movement, are described. The invention is not limited to use for mascara application.
