  • Publication number: 20220028424
Abstract: Systems herein allow a user to record a presentation with a slides file. The system can record action events generated by a viewer application that displays slides of the slides file. The system can also record an audio segment for each displayed slide. An action information file can be created that links action events and audio segments to slides, and provides timing information for the action events. This can allow for playback of a narrated presentation where actions are recreated in synchronization with the narration while reducing the reliance on large video files.

  • Publication number: 20200255828
Abstract: Chromatin 3D structure modulating agents in the context of the present invention are intended to interfere or manipulate the function of loop anchor motifs, such as CTCF motifs. In certain example embodiments, the present invention may block formation of all or essentially all loop anchor or chromatin domains or block formation of a loop anchor or chromatin domain at a targeted genomic location. For instance, the chromatin 3D structure modulating agent may bind a target region and mask a loop anchor motif, thereby preventing a loop anchor or chromatin domain from forming. The chromatin 3D structure modulating agent may bind a target region and cause a loop anchor of chromatin domain to form.

  • Patent number: 9021573
Abstract: A method and a system are disclosed that enable an address at the edge router to be used to establish a multi-pipe virtual private network (MVPN) connecting controllers to multiple web enabled end user devices (EUDs) inside a security protected local area network (LAN). The EUDs connect to a central server (CS) outside the LAN during configuration establishing registration and identity (ID) for each EUD. Once the EUDs establish connection from inside the LAN, the CS is enabled to communicate with the EUDs using the address and ID provided during registration. The CS then acts as a facilitator establishing secure VPN connection between controllers in the cloud and the EUDs inside the LAN. CS further acts as a pass through for those LANs that do not allow direct connections to controllers outside the LAN. The CS continues to monitor the health of the overall system once connectivity is established.

  • Patent number: 8509422
Abstract: System and method for encoding status signals in DC voltage levels is provided. The value of a status indicator received on status signals are encoded as a series of pulses, and the voltage level from a power source, such as a power supply or a rechargeable battery, is modulated in accordance with the series of pulses. In an embodiment, the voltage level from the power source is varied between two levels, both of which are acceptable power levels. The drops in the voltage levels represent the value of the status indicator. On the receiving end, the power signal is translated into a logical voltage level and converted to a digital value. The digital value is decoded into the status indicator.

  • Publication number: 20120151352
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for rendering system components on a monitoring tool are described herein. A method includes receiving a user selection of a system from a list of monitorable systems, retrieving a plurality of components of the system selected by the user, and generating a graphical display illustrating the plurality of components in a hierarchical topology. Each component is being represented by a graphical indicator. The graphical indicator displays critical information or problem(s) related to a component that can be instantly perceived by the user. Further, the hierarchical topology illustrating a relationship (connectivity) between the components enables the user to easily track a root cause of the problem related to the component.

  • Publication number: 20120151396
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for rendering an optimized metrics topology on a monitoring tool are described herein. A monitoring tool, installed on a computer, displays a list of monitorable systems and a plurality of components of a system selected from the list. Each component is analyzed under a selected category. Each component includes a set of metrics associated with the selected category. Each metric from the set of metrics for a component is ranked. A rank for each metric is determined based upon at least a navigation behavior of a user of the monitoring tool and a metric characteristic. Based upon their ranks, the metrics are arranged in an optimized metrics topology. Higher ranked metrics are arranged in relatively higher topology level thereby delivering critical or key metrics, up front, in which the user is interested in.
