  • Patent number: 11854418
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to methods, computer program products, and systems for providing surface vehicle tracking data, including indications of potential collision zones, to an airport map display system onboard an aircraft. In one example, a method includes identifying historical navigation route data, aerodrome guidance features, and a predicted path of a first vehicle. The method further includes determining predicted positions along the predicted path and determining predicted positions of a second vehicle and comparing vehicle envelopes for the two vehicles to determine a predicted collision zone of the vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20230392954
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for assisting operation of a vehicle by intelligently prioritizing messages relevant to a route for the vehicle. One method involves analyzing textual content of the message to automatically identify values for a plurality of fields of information specified by the message and obtaining current values for one or more of those fields from one or more data sources associated with the vehicle. In response to identifying a difference between a specified value and the corresponding current value for a field of information, the method automatically assigns a priority level to the message based at least in part on the difference and provides graphical indicia of the priority level assigned to the message and the specified value for the field.

  • Patent number: 11368304
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for generating a parts logbook using blockchain technology. The method may include: receiving, by a processor, part information of a part from a first user device; adding, by the processor, a first block including the received part information to a copy of a blockchain database of a blockchain network; verifying, by the processor, the received part information of the part via the blockchain network; when the received part information of the part is verified, generating, by the processor, a parts logbook for the part based on the verified part information of the part; and transferring, by the processor, the generated parts logbook for the part to a second user device for displaying the generated parts logbook on the second user device.

  • Publication number: 20220121172
Abstract: A method for additive manufacturing process parameter monitoring of additively manufactured articles and associated raw materials, the method comprising the steps of: at an additive manufacturing raw material supplier located at a first location, packaging a raw additive manufacturing material, which may be a metal powder, and placing a sensor device inside the packaging, wherein the sensor device, which is powered by ambient energy, monitors one or more material parameters, as the packaging moves through a supply chain, and wherein sensed parameters from the sensor device are recorded periodically until the raw material is loaded to an additive manufacturing tool at a second location, different from the first location; prior to utilizing the sensor device, registering an identity for the sensor with blockchain rules to establish a trust on data originating from the sensor device; at an additive manufacturing article supplier located at the second location, using an additive manufacturing tool, manufacturing

  • Publication number: 20220004164
Abstract: A method for secure transfer of an additive manufacturing design file and for process monitoring of additively manufactured articles that are manufactured in accordance with such design file includes the steps of: at an article designer located at a first location, generating the additive manufacturing design file; from the first location, sending the additive manufacturing design file to an additive manufacturing AM vendor located at a second location different from the first location; at the second location, using an additive manufacturing tool, manufacturing the article in accordance with the design file; and at the second location, and using a plurality of process monitoring devices, generating a plurality of process parameters associated with the manufacture of the article; at the second location, generating a cryptographic, distributed ledger comprising the plurality of process parameters. The ledger is generated in the manner of a block-chain.
