  • Publication number: 20040267943
Abstract: A method of providing information, which is transmitted from selected content and/or corporation information providers having registered as members, to a user in real time is disclosed. In this method, the content and/or corporation information providers register with a main service system as information providers. The user visits the website of one of the information providers, installs a client module in a user's computer, determines whether reception of information from the information provider is allowed, and transmits and stores information about the user's computer and whether reception of information from the information provider is allowed to and in the main service system. Information is received from the content and/or corporation information providers, and stored in the main service system. Only information from information providers, from which the reception of information is allowed, is transmitted to the user's computer.

  • Publication number: 20040043829
Abstract: The present invention relates to a golf club shaft having improved torsion characteristics comprising a base shaft having an internal surface and an external surface, and at least one wave shaped reinforced part on at least one of said surfaces, said wave shaped reinforced part comprising a plurality of reinforcement pieces. The wave shaped reinforced part is located on at least one of the upper portion, midpoint or lower portion. The golf club shafts of the present invention can be made by applying a base section of a prepreg sheet or assembly having a plurality of finger like elements to a portion of a base shaft, wrapping the finger like elements around the base shaft to provide a wave shaped reinforced part having a plurality of reinforcement pieces, and curing the shaft having the wave shaped reinforced part thereon to produce a golf club shaft having a wave shaped reinforced part.

  • Patent number: 6311369
Abstract: The invention relates to a tool handle having a core that has a tool engaging end, an intermediate section, and a grip end. One or more rigid molded layers at least partially cover at least the intermediate section. The rigid molded layers include an outermost rigid layer having an undulated outer surface. The outermost rigid layer can include a portion that at least partially surrounds the grip end. In one aspect, that portion of the outermost rigid layer that surrounds the intermediate section is undulated and that portion of the outermost rigid layer that surrounds the grip end is free of undulations. The tool handles according to the invention dampen vibration that is transmitted from the impact end of the tool handle to the grip end that is held by the user. The invention also relates to impact tools having tool handles that dampen vibration before it is transmitted from the head to the grip section of the handle.
