  • Patent number: 9955531
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) element includes: producing a polymer aqueous emulsion solution; producing a polymer aqueous emulsion conductive composite by mixing the polymer aqueous emulsion solution with a conductive agent; and producing the PTC element by coating a substrate with the polymer aqueous emulsion conductive composite, or print the polymer aqueous emulsion conductive composite on the substrate, or dipping the substrate in the polymer aqueous emulsion conductive composite and drying the substrate. Here, the polymer aqueous emulsion solution includes an adhesive polymer, a cross-linking agent, an initiator, and water. The substrate is film, non-woven, textile, inflexible plate, and the like, which are formed of polymer resin.

  • Publication number: 20150373782
Abstract: The present invention relates to a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) element manufactured using a polymer aqueous emulsion conductive composite, and a planar heating element using the same. By controlling electric connection of the heating element using the PTC element, it is possible to control a heating temperature of the heating element to be in a desired range and to improve stability of the heating element. It is easy to manufacture the PTC manufactured using the polymer aqueous emulsion conductive composite, and PTC characteristics thereof can be satisfactorily kept even in use for a long period. Since the planar heating element manufactured using the PTC element has a self temperature control function, a separate temperature control device is unnecessary, which is economical.

  • Patent number: 8716633
Abstract: Disclosed are a method for manufacturing a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) device and a system for preventing overheating of a planar heater using the same. The manufacturing of the positive temperature coefficient (PTC) device is performed by mixing one or more polymer resins selected from ethylene butyl acrylate copolymers, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers and polyethylene oxide, carbon black and an additive to prepare a compounding composition, adhering an electrode to both surfaces of the compounding composition, compressing the resulting electrode structure into a sheet, and irradiating electron beams to the sheet to perform cross-linking. Also, disclosed is a planar heater overheating prevention sensor cable obtained by connecting a plurality of PTC devices in series and adhering the devices to the surface of a planar heater by a predetermined distance.

  • Patent number: 8623927
Abstract: Disclosed are a catalyst for synthesis of methanol from synthesis gas and a method for preparing the same. The catalyst includes a Cu—Zn—Al oxide containing CuO, ZnO and Al2O3 in a predetermined ratio or Cu—Zn—Al—Zr oxide containing CuO, ZnO, Al2O3 and ZrO2 in a predetermined ratio, in combination with a cerium-zirconium oxide obtained by a sol-gel process. As compared to the existing Cu—Zn—Al catalysts for synthesizing methanol, the catalyst disclosed herein inhibits formation of byproducts and improves yield of methanol. Therefore, it is possible to improve methanol purification efficiency and carbon conversion efficiency.
