  • Publication number: 20070157009
Abstract: Provided are a loop accelerator and a data processing system having the loop accelerator. The data processing system includes a loop accelerator which executes a loop part of a program, a processor core which processes a remaining part of the program except the loop part, and a central register file which transmits data between the processor core and the loop accelerator. The loop accelerator includes a plurality of processing elements (PEs) each of which performs an operation on each word to execute the program, a configuration memory which stores configuration bits indicating operations, states, etc. of the PEs, and a plurality of context memories, installed in a column or row direction of the PEs, which transmit the configuration bits along a direction toward which the PEs are arrayed. Thus, a connection structure between the configuration memory and the PEs can be simplified to easily modify a structure of the loop accelerator so as to extend the loop accelerator.

  • Publication number: 20070150710
Abstract: A reconfigurable processor comprising a configuration memory for storing a configuration bit for at least one loop configuration; a valid information memory for storing bit information indicating whether an operation in a loop is a delay operation; and at least one processing unit for determining whether an operation in a next cycle is the delay operation by referring to the bit information transmitted from the valid information memory, and selectively performing a change and an implementation of a configuration according to the configuration bit from the configuration memory based on the determined results.

  • Publication number: 20070094485
Abstract: A data processing system and method. The data processing system includes a processor core that executes a program; a loop accelerator that has an array consisting of a plurality of data processing cells and executes a loop in a program by configuring the array according to a set of configuration bits; and a centralized register file which allows data used in the program execution to be shared by the processor core and the loop accelerator. The loop accelerator divides the configuration of the array into at least three phases according to whether data exchange with the central register file is conducted during the loop execution. Thus, unnecessary occupation of the routing resource, which is used for the data exchange between the loop accelerator and the central register file during the loop execution, can be avoided.

  • Publication number: 20060089961
Abstract: Disclosed is a mixed-type adder with optimized design costs. The mixed-type adder includes I sub adders, (where, I is a positive number larger than 1). An overall bit width of the mixed-type adder is divided into I bit groups which are respectively allocated to the I sub adders. The I sub adders have different carry propagation schemes and are connected in series through a carry signal.

  • Publication number: 20040239123
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a door lock. The door lock is configured in such a fashion that an indoor-side spindle of a body assembly rotates a retractor using an indoor-side small spindle thereof, in the same manner as an outdoor-side spindle provided with an outdoor-side small spindle. This simplifies a manufacturing process of the indoor-side spindle and enables the outer diameter of the indoor-side spindle to be accurately processed, resulting in the smooth rotation thereof. In addition, respective plate assemblies of the door lock are formed with an operating chamber inside thereof so that rotation springs are installed therein through spring holders, and spring holder covers are fixedly coupled using fixing pieces, along with attachment plates. This configuration simplifies the whole construction and assembly process of the rotation springs.

  • Publication number: 20040201225
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a lever lock. The lever lock is configured so that respective spring cams, provided at one of ends of an outdoor-side spindle and an indoor-side spindle, are located inside covers along with rotation springs. This construction secures design flexibility and the reduction of size of plates. The outdoor-side spindle is provided therein with a connection holder and a pawl cam, which are elastically supported by a spring. When a pawl is moved to lock the lever lock, a connection holder, into which a connection of the indoor-side spindle is inserted, is withdrawn, and separated from bosses formed at the outdoor-side spindle, thereby causing an outdoor-side lever to be in an idle state. The spring cam is formed with steps, having a wide radius of rotation, at certain upper and lower positions of the circumference thereof. The steps are adapted to engage with outwardly-extended pieces of a retractor for achieving the bi-directional engagement there between.

  • Patent number: 6425273
Abstract: A tubular lever lock includes a protruded connection part formed at the cross section of a pawl which slides along an inner spindle and interfaced with the operation of an eccentric hole of an operation globe. The spindles are structured to form and to protrude with a square pole passing through a latch by an appropriate distance. A key holder is formed on an outer bundle and is connected with a lock cylinder of an outer spindle, which enables a catch hub installed inwardly and elastically to rotate. With regard to the inner bundle and outer bundle, when built in, the key holder of the outer bundle causes connection with the operation globe through a square hole of a catch hub as well as a hole of the square pole.
