The custom filtering computer system configured to: receive filter criteria from a user computer device; retrieve filtered data by querying one or more databases based on the filter criteria, the filtered data including tabular data that matches the filter criteria; receive operations criteria from the user computer device; generate processed data, the processed data comprising the filtered data and operation outputs, by performing the operations defined in the operations criteria and storing the operation outputs with the filtered data; receive display criteria from a user computer device; generate a data display by applying the display criteria to the processed data; and display the data display on an output module of the user computer device.

Abstract: A method for providing expert information from a pool of experts using a server system coupled to a centralized database and at least one client system is provided. The database stores expert information relating to each expert within the pool of experts. The method includes displaying information on the client system identifying alternative paths for assistance to the user, receiving a request from the client system based on an alternative path selected by the user, accessing a database within the server system comprising a pool of experts, cross-referencing user information with expert information, displaying expert information including expert availability information on the client system through an applet downloaded from the server system when a user calls upon an expert to seek assistance, and contacting the expert based on user selected expert information inputted into the client system.

The method includes generating a first database in a first memory device, storing, by an administrator via a server system, a plurality of questions in the first database, where the plurality of questions relate to project information, and storing, by the administrator, a plurality of answers and a plurality of options related to the project information, where each answer corresponds to one of the plurality of questions and one of the options. The method further includes associating, by the administrator, the plurality of answers with a task by pre-defining, within the first database, the task to be performed based on the plurality of answers. The method also includes associating, by the administrator, a plurality of tools used to complete the task with the task, where the plurality of tools include at least one of templates used to manage the task, experts on the task, and frequently asked questions regarding the task.

The server system is coupled to a centralized database and at least one client system. The method includes receiving at the server system information from the client system wherein the information includes documentation relating to a plurality of topics and a list of experts on a plurality of topics, storing information received at the server system in the centralized database, organizing the information stored in the centralized database, aggregating related information by at least one of a work function, a functional category, and a community, and displaying a user interface on the client system to enable a user to search the database for a specific item of information by at least one of the work function, the functional category, and the community.

Abstract: A fixture adapted to precisely position two components to permit multiple machining operations of the components at a single work station. The fixture includes a backbone having a first portion for securing the first component and a second portion for securing the second component. First and second portions each further include an integral lobe and a finger which extend outwardly from the backbone, each terminating in a datum surface, as well as an additional datum surface which collectively form a set of datum locators along both the first and second portions. Each set of datum locators precisely positions the two components at a predetermined distance and orientation from each other.

Abstract: A method for providing improved thickness control of a workpiece formed by impact forming. An impact forming device includes an upper die and a lower die that is configured and disposed for receiving the heated workpiece. The upper die is operatively connected to a ram for directing the upper die into a controlled impact with the lower die while the workpiece is positioned between the upper die and the lower die. This controlled impact forms the workpiece. A precise relationship is determined between a finished thickness of the workpiece and a time duration that the workpiece is in contact with the lower die prior to impact with the upper die to achieve the particular workpiece thickness. Once the workpiece is placed on the lower die, the ram is actuated to effect the controlled impact of the upper and the lower die in response to the precise relationship.
