Abstract: The present disclosure in some embodiments provides a medical device and to a method of operating the medical device. The medical device, comprising: a monitoring information processor configured to process and display cardiovascular information acquired through diagnosing or monitoring a target area of a patent body; a comparison unit configured to compare at least one values selected from the cardiovascular information with at least one threshold values; a cardiovascular information analysis unit configured to analyze the cardiovascular information provided depending on the result of comparison performed by the comparison unit and to produce an analysis result; and a therapeutic parameter setup unit configured to generate a setup information based on a part or all of the cardiovascular information and the analysis result and to generate therapeutic pulses for adjusting a level of a treatment on the patient body according to the setup information.

Abstract: A method and an ultrasound medical apparatus for confirming a focal point of a high-intensity focused ultrasound are disclosed. A method of confirming a focal point, for pre-targeting a location of a high-intensity ultrasound by synchronizing the high-intensity ultrasound and an imaging ultrasound and using a reflected signal of the synchronized imaging ultrasound and high-intensity ultrasound from a focal point to which the ultrasounds are transmitted, and an ultrasound medical apparatus for implementing the method are provided.

Abstract: A method and an ultrasound medical apparatus for compensating for a focal point are disclosed. A method and an ultrasound medical apparatus are provided, for transmitting a high-intensity ultrasound having an intensity lower than a predetermined output value to a target object (an affected area of a patient) in a manner that no errors are generated between a focal point on the target object and an actual ultrasound focusing location when transmitting a high-intensity focused ultrasound and compensating a distance of the focal point by using a reflected signal of the ultrasound.
