  • Publication number: 20240135763
Abstract: Aspects of the invention are directed towards systems and methods for changing the premises in a building such as hotel or the like. A user sends to a request from a user device to a server for switching a first premises with the second premises. An access card is able to access the first premises. Based on the request, the server determines the second premises and generates access credentials for the second premises. The access credentials are transmitted to a first access terminal associated with the first premises and the access card is encoded with the access credentials to access the second premises and permitting entry inside the second premises.

  • Publication number: 20230316847
Abstract: A system and method for automatic configuration of a self-service kiosk. The key aspect of the configuration of the self-service kiosk is to autoconfigure the unattended self-service kiosk enabled by a hardware and a vending machine software (VMS) of the system. The system and method reduce the time for operator, business user to install and manage the self-service kiosk. The system uses the data obtained from the self-service kiosks via a data file to automatically configure these self-service kiosks. Once the self-service kiosk is configured the same is displayed back to the operator/business user who is configuring the self-service kiosk on their mobile using the hardware and vending machine software (VMS) so that the consumers can start using the self-service kiosk immediately after configuration.

  • Publication number: 20230315037
Abstract: Power grid management systems and methods include determining a power reference, and sending a first message from a first controller to each of a plurality of second controllers based on the power reference. Each of the plurality of second controllers is configured to control a plurality of associated distributed energy resources (DERs). Energy usage of the associated DERs is modified by each of the plurality of second controllers based on the first message. Each of the second controllers sends feedback data to the first controller message based on the modified energy usage of the associated DERs. The feedback data is aggregated by the first controller, and the aggregated feedback data is compared to the power reference. The first controller sends a second message to each of the plurality of second controllers based on the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20230245518
Abstract: A system and method for enabling wireless dispensation of products from the self-service kiosk/vending machine without using an application associated with the self-service kiosk/vending machine. For this purpose, a machine-readable code, which is displayed on the self-service kiosk, is scanned by a portable user device. Further a short-range connection (e.g., BLE connection) is established between the portable user device and the self-service kiosk. This further enables sharing product inventory data to the portable electronic device. The inventory data is accessible through browser application of the portable electronic device. After selection of desired products by a user and making successful payment, the selected products are dispensed from the self-service kiosk.

  • Patent number: 10432400
Abstract: A method and system securely discloses a shared, identity linked secret known by two parties, while preserving the privacy of the parties. The first party generates a challenge value that only the second party could respond correctly to if and only if the second party shares secret S with the first party. The first party generates a counter-challenge for the challenge value, computes a verifier associated with the challenge and counter-challenge, and sends the counter-challenge to the server. The server sends the counter-challenge value to the second party. The second party computes a verifier associated with the challenge and counter-challenge, the verifier matches the verifier computed by the second party if and only if the second party shares secret S with the first party. The parties execute a gradual release process, which confirms a match if and only if the secret S is shared between the parties.
