    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a framework for providing workflow guidance. In accordance with one aspect, a workflow graph is retrieved from a pre-built knowledge base. An end node of the workflow graph may represent a user's desired workflow point-state associated with a workflow system. The workflow graph may be used to determine the most efficient path from a current workflow point-state to the desired workflow point-state. A suggestion of the next task to be performed by the user may then be provided in accordance with the most efficient path.
