    Abstract: A system for displaying physiological parameters includes: a central processing unit (CPU) that is configured to control operation of a monitor device; a display screen; and a set of one or more computer readable data storage media storing software instructions that, when executed by the CPU, cause the monitor device to: detect a device that is added to the system, the device being used to measure at least one physiological parameter associated with a patient; provision the device; allow a user to select a skin defining a layout for displaying data associated with the physiological parameter measured by the device; allow the user to select a position of a window displaying the skin, the position selected from one of a plurality of cells on a matrix displayed on the display screen; and display the window on the display screen at the position.
